The affordable coat has many fans on social media

Though Tesco is best known for its food, its clothing line also boasts many fans.

The retail giant’s clothing brand F&F has almost half a million followers on Instagram and people flock to stores to find the products that they’ve seen on the social media platform.

Amongst those products is a trench coat, which won many plaudits when F&F clothing posted a picture of it to its 492,000 followers.

The post has amassed more than 1,939 likes, reports EssexLive.

It was captioned: “The perfect raincoat includes:

For only £39 That’s #FandFClothing.”

One fan bigged it up, claiming that it’s storm-proof.

They wrote: “I got caught in a torrential storm and apart from wet hands and wrists from pushing the buggy, the rest of me stayed dry plus the double ended zip is a fantastic touch.”

“Just what I need. Thanks for the review! Was going to get a Joules one but I think I'll get this instead! Need one for nursery runs!” said another.

“Lady on a mission, I bought it at lunchtime thanks again,” wrote a third.
