K-Way's Le Vrai' Jacket Has Never Looked So Parisian

Editor’s Notes: Anyone who has visited Paris will know the value of having a rain jacket on guard for when the sporadic downfall arrives. It's something that the brand's founder Léon-Claude Duhamel knew only too well, creating its now-iconic packable jackets as a defense against the city's rain.

As part of the 4éme édition of our Not In Paris flagship, we have tapped the brand to make its signature jackets even more Parisian, taking inspiration from the French capital's vast range of souvenir shops.

Added to the K-Way Le Vrai' 3 jacket is a "Paris" print that is a staple of any souvenir clothing bought in the city — and which is also recontextualized across our wider Not In Paris collection. Meanwhile, on the left chest is the most famous of Parisian landmarks: a print of the Eiffel Tower.

As with all the jackets from the label, it folds up into the pocket to create a small waist bag, making carrying it around the city the easiest it can be.

Our new drop follows a string of collaborations by K-Way as brands are utilizing the label's lightweight, waterproof, and highly practical jackets. This has included creating PLAY COMME des GARÇONS' first proper outerwear and a Saint Laurent collab that we dubbed "as French as Boeuf Bourguignon," although our collaboration might have just one-upped creative director Anthony Vaccarello in its Frenchness.

Arriving in either grey or black, our collaborative K-Way jacket will drop online via the Highsnobiety Shop and in our Paris pop-up shop, located at 35 Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, 75004 between June 22-26.
