A chimpanzee escaped from a zoo in Ukraine looking for some adventure. ChiChi was the chimp who made the run for some fun. As we know Ukraine has been at war with Russia for some time now, so because of that the foot traffic both on the streets as well as the local zoo have decreased as many shelter in place for safety.

13 year old chichi made her way towards the town square looking for some interaction with humans as that's what he is used too. It took all but two hours to find him not very far from the zoo.

The funny part is that ChiChi acted like the real life Curious George, escaping out of curiosity plus how she was lured back to the zoo. Victoria Kozyreva is the zookeeper who looks after chichi came to the rescue with chichis favorite yellow rain coat. She came in and sat down to have a conversation with chichi before convincing her to come back home she put on her yellow rain coat and they hitched a ride back to the zoo on a bicycle.

Chimps and all monkey's are very smart so it its no surprise that she managed to escape. Plus Victoria has been working with Chichi for 13 years since she was born. Chichi was definitely acting like a teenager not wanting to go back to her home at the local zoo but Victoria knew to bring her secret weapons to help convince her.

A few locals captured her walking through the streets and even her with the yellow raincoat and riding the bike. The internet was the one who pointed out who is letting this chimp watch curious George.

Chichi is now back in the care and safety of Ukrainian zoo and zookeepers.
